WELCOME WORCESTER COMMUNITY PARTNERS!
Over 75 care professionals came together for an inspiring and thoughtful morning at our first-ever Honoring Choices Workshop in Worcester. These talented professionals have a deep-seated knowledge and long standing commitment in helping adults and families across all ages, cultures, faiths and capacity connect to person-centered care. In attendance were care providers, clergy, caregivers, attorneys, and clinicians from Central Massachusetts who joined us to broaden their networks, learn about the Honoring Choices tools and programs, and identify challenges and next steps in moving forward together. It was particularly exciting to be expanding the Honoring Choices Community Partner westward into the ‘Home of MOLST’, where the Medical Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (MOLST) demonstration project began. We are thrilled for the opportunity to support their work and collectively address the challenges in their community. We are grateful to know the Worcester Community Partners will generously bring their expertise to our shared mission and the statewide Community Partner Network.
